- In an email to some of its customers, leading digital bank @RevolutApp announced its plans to launch its own #cryptocurrency exchange, for which it is currently testing a beta version.
- The company boasts some 30 million users for its existing products, which it no-doubt hopes will convert to users of its eventual CEX.
- Revolut’s existing platform already features some #crypto-related functionality but is very much limited in its scope and range of offered assets.
- Little has yet been revealed but we do know the exchange will see lower fees than its existing app, and also provide “analytical tools” to users.
- The company has already set its fees at between 0% and 0.09%, making it significantly more competitive than existing CEXs in the industry.
- For context, fees on the @Binance exchange begin at a whopping 0.57%...
- Despite having to withdraw crypto-related services from users in the United Kingdom, Coindesk claims that it has seen an email regarding the exchange sent to a UK customer.
