Revolut has about 700,000 customers in Croatia and plans to open a local branch of its Lithuanian-licensed bank, which would let it issue Croatian IBANs and offer more localised services. In March, Revolut advertised for a Country Manager role, the description of which included supporting the establishment of a local branch. It is unclear whether anyone was hired. Customer numbers have grown by roughly 200,000 over about 18 months, and now about one in six Croatians, including all children and adults, have a Revolut account. Revolut currently serves the market by passporting its Lithuanian banking licence and issuing LT IBANs.
