WinPE = Windows pre-installed (originalno pre-installation, ampak v tem kontekstu seveda to nic ne pomeni, ker ne gre vec za instalacijo, ampak samo administracijo) environment, torej Windowsi, ki se zbudijo z "live" medija, v njih pa potem poganjas orodja (npr. za restavriranje podatkov), brez da bi se dotaknil sistema na disku, ki bi lahko naredil sranje z izginulimi podatki. No, in tega ocitno ni zraven.

Tole sem gledal... A se ne da prenesti image iz diska na disk tudi s kakim Partition managerjem?!

Tole je kao specialno za prenos OSa. Pa saj z ostalimi tudi lahko preneseš OS in vse kar je na disku... ?!

Prenos Windows ni tako preprost, (ker je "siten"

).
Zato imaš programe za prenos Windows z enega diska na drugega.
Pri tem programu tu pa so verjetno dodali še, da alignment spremeni, da bolj paše SSD (od Viste dalje je sicer to po defoltu, ampak polovica sveta ima še XP)

A ne gre vse o principu "Ghost" programa?!

OK. Nisem še delal s SSDji tako da lahko, da je tu haklc in ga ostali programi ne naredijo tako kot je treba.

Saj sem napisal, da je razlika le to, da malo zamakne sektorje. (kar se itak dela, samo zdaj na način, ki ustreza SDD enotam, prej pa le, da ustreza Windows in BIOS)
Verjetno ima to tudi zadnja verzija Ghosta (oziroma karkoli je danes namesto Ghost-a).

No danes ko sem pognal Daemontools mi je javil da se je sistem spremenil in da moram na novo aktivirat. Seveda je za plačat.

Sistem še je vedno popolnoma isti kot je bil tedaj ko sem namestil program...
