#Map_IT! is the 24h mapping hackathon, organized by HERE Technologies, together with Jagiellonian University and AGH University of Science and Technologies. The event will take place on the 23rd and 24th of June in Kraków. Hackathon is dedicated to the students and young graduates of spatial sciences and IT, developers and all those interested in GIS, mapping and coding.

The mail goal is to discover potential of location intelligence and act using worldwide spatial technology. The key result is the idea and working demo of the application using spatial data platform, helping communities, societies and organizations solving problems using digital maps and location services.

The ideas will be brought into real life during 24h #Map_IT! Mapathon in the field of one of the proposed topics:

• Environment
• Smart Cities
• Smart Mobility, Public Transportation & Logistics
• Social Responsibility
• Sports & Tourism

The event will offer technical workshop on features and usage of Here Api and presentation skills workshop. The meeting will be supported by the representatives of other companies and public sector, who will act as mentors. Registration is open until midnight, the 14th of June.
